As someone who entered their M Ed program looking for practical application in everyday practice, educational theories weren’t something that I expected to become a major focus originally. Throughout this program however, I’ve realized that without proper educational theory, skilled and valuable professional practice can not viably exist.
One significant underpinning that permeates the artifacts that I have chosen is that consistently reliable education and learning can’t occur within a vacuum, and external forces are always at play, even in a theoretical context. As a result, the attached artifacts were selected to highlight these ideas.
